Main reason I brought this lock was to protect my expensive bike against almost any attack method including angle grinders. The lock itself is heavy but not lighter in comparison to other locks in the diamond lock category. The price itself is fantastic and cheaper than others. It comes with a free cover to keep it clean and dry and I mistakingly brought an extra one as I though it did not come with one. It takes a few attempts to lock the litelock with the key and requires adjusting. The arm itself has a rubber cover to avoid damaging your bike and the lock is pure metal and can be used to swing at a bike thief should your need to take action. It can scratch a little easy at the base but that's metal for you. The lock has a mud flap to keep it clean but you should check it before inserting a key in case you stick dirt into it. My main criticism is it is a little short and narrow for my needs, I have a specialised Turbo Como 5.0 e bike and I struggle to fit it around the rear frame and a stand, I do love this lock but the size issue means I truggle to get both ends to attach and lock in please.

I would still recommend it if you have a smaller bike, as it is best value and you are supporting UK businesses.

I purchased this lock to secure my new E-Bike. I live in a city in which bicycle theft is very common. I spent quite some time searching for the best lock to secure my e-bike and landed upon the X3. The lock took some time to arrive. I contacted customer service and had a response back in an hour or two that it would be shortly on its way. My only mistake was to not buy the tactical mount at the same time so I quickly resolved that. So far I am pleased with the lock. The lock feels very sturdy. It has a nice weight to it without being too heavy. Opening and closing the lock works well. The coating over the lock keeps it from damaging the frame of my bicycle. I consider this a worthwhile investment for the security of your bicycle/motorbike. I have lost one bicycle due to theft, locked with another manufacturer’s ART 4 rated lock, secured properly to a fixed bicycle parking station. I’m hopeful that with this lock, me and my bicycle will have a long future ahead!

Purchased a new bike and wanted to give myself a fighting chance of keeping it, when parked up.

I chose the Lite lock X3 mainly for its angle grinding resistance (but hope I never have to put it to the test).

Feels very robust, with reassuring weight, but not too heavy.

Impressive locking system.

Unfortunately it was too big to fit through my front brake disc. However fits perfectly through the back wheel and subframe - so actually even more secure (as brake discs can be cut through).

Sadly cannot find any brackets to hold it on the bike when not in use, but will fit in a ruck sack or tethered to pillion seat.

It is at the higher side of the market but compared the value of what it’s protecting, it’s definitely value for money.

Sadly won’t stop the bike being lifted into a van (not a lot will) but will hopefully put off the opportunist thief.

Also love the fact it’s British made

I use the X3 as part of a multi layered security solution for my Tiger 1200 GT Pro. I will post a video showing how it fits, I would have liked it to be a little wider to fit over the wheel but it’s ok to thread it through the discs (and I’m guessing more difficult this way to get purchase on it maybe). I also use a Pragmasis chain and lock with the Oxford alarm disc lock as that sounds an alarm. Overall very happy with my purchase which gives me that extra piece of mind. Not cheap but you only get what you pay for and if it saves my pride and joy getting nicked and my excess then it’s fantastic value.
