X1 features a high-quality lock cylinder which is durable and pick-resistant. The keyhole is protected from dirt, dust and moisture with our innovative self-sealing silicone keyhole cover.
Reflective Strips
X1 locks are finished with Quartz White retro-reflective vinyl strips along the lock shackle and on the X's at each end. The reflective strips flash in headlights to keep you safe and seen.

Tested against the most d-locks on the market, LITELOK X1 is at least 5 times more resistant to angle grinder cuts. Additionally, X1 requires multiple discs to cut and due to its anti-rotation system, needs to be cut on both sides to remove.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available).
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

Our founder and CEO, Professor Neil Barron, supported by Innovate UK, worked closely with some of the world’s leading material scientists for over 5 years to develop Barronium®, our ground breaking angle grinder resistant technology.
What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

Solid lock that fits neatly (just about) over my rear tyre and rim. I’ve watched some videos online and can say I’m confident the average battery operated disc cutter will struggle to get through it. I think it’s worth the money. Happy with my purchase.

The X1 Litelock was just thin enough to get it through my disk while giving me the confidence it won't be cut. If anyone would want to get it off I think they would go through the disk and spokes of the wheel instead, damaging the bike.
I mounted it using the Tactical mount and it fits well. The reflective strip around the lock makes it look more visible from the side profile however it does get scratched off where it comes into contact with the bike. Overall really pleased but a more versatile mounting system for a motorcycle would be amazing.

What a great lock system, feels like a very sturdy lock. Comes with a neoprene cover to keep it safe. Hopefully I don't get to experience it's full potential. But I certainly feel that this lock will keep my bike safe.

Bought a litelok X1 for my mt07 as this is the bike I use for touring. It just fits around the front tyre. It could do with being about 5mm wider really to fit over slightly wider wheels. Worth having to secure your bike from grinder attacks.

It needs to be a bit wider, I did find a way to use it on my Sportster but it will be a lot better if future MOTO models will be at least 10mm wider.
