Can X3 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X3 is at least 20 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading d-lock as well as needing multiple discs and batteries to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X3 weigh?
LITELOK X3 weighs approximately 2.1kgs or 4.6lbs.
What's the difference between X3 Bike and X3 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X3 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X3?
LITELOK X3 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 100 x 195mm.
Has LITELOK X3 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Pedal Cycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available). It has also been tested by ART, and certified ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

Our founder and CEO, Professor Neil Barron, supported by Innovate UK, worked closely with some of the world’s leading material scientists for over 5 years to develop Barronium®, our ground breaking angle grinder resistant technology.
What is LITELOK X3 made from?
LITELOK X3 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X3 is sold with a 7-year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

The lock is not cheap, but a fraction of what it is worth in terms of giving me the best chance of keeping my bike. It works well, easy to put on and take off. The key is easy to spot on a keyring of bike lock keys and I love that they registered it for me, soi I can easily get replacements if needed.
I haven't found anywhere to put the tactical mount yet, so I just put it my panier when I'm travelling.

Super beefy U-lock with just large enough gap to fit on the front wheel of my Ninja 400, providing extra security. It is dense, but not too heavy to carry on the go. The lock mechanism is smooth, but getting the key in the right position can be tricky with one hand.

UK quality. Unpickable Abloy lock. You need torch to cut this baby. Angle grinder takes too long. It’s heavy but comes with a wet suit material bag so it’s easy to strap down with bungie cords. I purchased (2). Great investment to secure my E-bikes.

I never care to post reviews on things but I was keen todo so on this lock.
Id honestly describe this as a battleship of a lock, a HMS dreadnought of a lock in fact.
It's around 2kg, but it carried some serious security and peace of mind.
Is it a lot of money? Yes it is, but my feelings are im protecting a investment, preventing the frustration and annoyance of having my bike stolen and having to go out and spend more money replacing it + replacing the cheaper lock.
One bit of advice, your bike is only as safe as its weakest point, so don't lock it to a thin railing, lock it to a lampost or something that would be really annoying to cut through as they may just cut the bike stand and leave with the lock still attached.
My feelings are, if your bike is locked to a tall post, then in real world conditions, the bike will be near impossible to steal.
Only downside is i ordered in the new year so it took a while to arrive. + I have like a £90 bike with a 250 pound lock so I always have to find a way to justify such an imbalance.

Excellent locks and feels very strong, it fits perfectly in some motorbikes but not all.
You have to find your way around the wheels and get a noose chain.
I hope litelock will make bigger versions of strong Barronium locks in the nearest future.
