Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a greater amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is compatible with our innovative X1 Tactical mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The X1 Tactical Mount fits a wide variety of bikes and e-bikes ensuring your LITELOK X1 is held securely even the roughest of terrain.
X1 is also compatible with the Twist & Go mount.
Both of the X1 mounts are sold separately.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by independent testing bodies Sold Secure and ART. Both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available) and ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

Hopefully a good secure lock to protect my motorbike when away from home
Just fits round front wheel/tyre on 2014 triumph tiger 800
Would have liked the bigger X3 but honestly couldn't afford it

Lo compré hace tres semanas más o menos despues de mirar muchos vídeos comparativos en Internet.
Me di cuenta de que entre los tres mejores candados anti amoladora angular del mercado estaba el Litelok X1 y lo escogí por las tres razones que expongo en el titulo de la reseña, calidad-precio y diseño, también por un vídeo que vi en el que tres ladrones intentan llevarse una bicicleta protegida con este candado y por su resistencia al corte de sierra le dió tiempo al dueño a venir y frustrar el robo, eso fue lo que me terminó de convencer, aparte de la satisfacción tan grande al sentí al ver que se iban con las manos vacias.
Soy de España y aquí todavía creo que no van con amoladora angular los ladrones de bicicletas, en todo caso llevan cizallas para las cadenas, de todos modos y por si acaso compré este candado para estar más tranquilo.
También porque pensaba que nunca me iban a robar una bicicleta hasta el mes de enero de este año que me quitaron una y me quedé en shock.
En resumidas cuentas, desde que tengo el Litelok estoy más seguro y duermo más tranquilo.
Lo único malo por ponerle una pega es el peso, pero claro todo no se puede pedir.

Coming in a really useful pouch, the X1 is fantastic. Fits my Maeving RM1S rear wheel perfectly (as well as in the storage tank when not in use). The knowledge that it'd take any nefarious individual a significant amount of time and effort to even get close to stealing my beloved bike is enormous comfort which is an incredible thing from such a small and reasonably priced package.

Nach sehr langer und intensiver Recherche, hab ich mich für das X1 entschieden und bin sehr zufrieden,
Ich finde jedoch, dass der Schlüssel etwas fummelig einzuführen ist; dafür ist der Zylinder aber vor Schmutz gut geschützt. Das Schloss reflektiert bei Dunkelheit sehr gut, was ein Plus an Sicherheit bietet.
Als Zubehör habe ich mir die Tactical Mount Halterung angebracht, diese hält das Schloss zuverlässig dort wo es sein soll. Die Halterung könnte etwas schlanker und schicker designt und idealerweise auch an den Punkten der Flaschenhalter zu montieren sein.
Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden mit meinem Kauf und hätte hier 4,5 Sterne vergeben.

Look I’m not gonna cut it to test it but it looks good and I seen it work on YouTube. I am slightly disappointed it doesn’t fit over my 5” bike tire but still goes around parts of the frame. As far as options go I’d say it’s a great lock.

The best thing about LITELOK is that your bicycle is safe if you are away from it. It takes some time to cut thru this lock and your bike won’t be gone if you turn your back.
I was not able to use the LITELOK mount on my Trek Allant +7S midstep due to the bike frame design so I carry the lock in my rack bag.
