Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a greater amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is compatible with our innovative X1 Tactical mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The X1 Tactical Mount fits a wide variety of bikes and e-bikes ensuring your LITELOK X1 is held securely even the roughest of terrain.
X1 is also compatible with the Twist & Go mount.
Both of the X1 mounts are sold separately.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by independent testing bodies Sold Secure and ART. Both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available) and ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

The Litelok X1 is easy to use, has a rubber surface which prevents scratching and the holder is firm so the lock doesn't rattle. The whole thing feels so good in built quality. The pro/con is it's really heavy.

Thanks God! look so masive and intimidating. The top spot is the carrying bag as it fits snuggles and has prety reasonable cushion to protect the bike sfeom scratch.
I like the weight as it reasonable to have it with me when comuting and travel.
The customer carre is top-notch as they send me infinite remainders to register the keys so if lost to be posible to order replacements.
I like the size as it is perfect not too small not too big and easy to block sproket chain with rim. and good space to chain it also.

Got this as it has has good reviews, is angle grinder resistant, probably needing several blades to get through, so much more secure than most D locks. Not much heavier than my previous D lock.

After my motorcycle was stolen in Leicester city center and the police made a daring move to recover it, I decided to invest in better security. I watched a Polish YouTube video about motorcycle and bicycle security. I narrowed down the two best locks (unfortunately, they weren't cheap, but they were the most thief-proof, which would be useful to have stolen). One of them is a Litelok x1 (a British company), which I installed at home. It cost me £150 each, but I believe it's worth it. From my research, I learned that cutting one span takes 4 minutes with an angle grinder, and it has two spans, meaning 8. I still need to learn how to best install the lock to ensure it's installed correctly and used 100% efficiently. The lock has a protective rubber cover that should prevent abrasion to your vehicle, is moderately heavy, comes with a nice soft case for transport, and includes two keys that can be registered for duplication. Generally speaking, and honestly, today I received a motorcycle that was previously stolen, and I have to do everything I can to prevent it... and I think it's one of the best security measures... it's just a shame it doesn't offend Prada. Anyone who tries to touch it... 😅 P.S. Motorcyclists have created a petition to get rid of this plagiarism in England. I did a lot of research before I settled on the Litelok X1. Personally, overall, it's perfect. I've never left my bicycle anywhere, and as such I don't use it much for fear of it getting stolen. Now I know I can go anywhere and leave it locked, safe in the knowledge it'll still be there when I return. Highly recommended.

After my bike was stolen, I learned my lesson and decided to invest in proper security. I purchased two LITELOK X1 locks with the Tactical Mount, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision.

I find the X1 to be exceptional strong. Ideally it would have been perfect to have it in bright neon colours warning would be thieves from a distance. The reflective tape which runs along it is coming off so it would have been great to have the actual rubber which protects the entire shackle to be impregnated with reflective components. After a lot of online research this is certainly the best lock out there. If I had had more cash I would have bought the X3. I understand that the modifications I would have liked to have seen would have increased the cost of purchase. Also I must say I am extremely happy with the prompt customer service I also received. So in conclusion the X1 is an outstanding lock in terms of quality and strength and I am more than satisfied with my purchase."

I invested in an electric bike and wanted to feel that it was secure when out and about . With this lock l can leave it almost anywhere. I live in a very busy city where cycle theft is a very large industry.
Not for my bike though. I have seen cut locks and chains throughout , but mine has not even a touch.
