Can X3 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X3 is at least 20 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-locks as well as needing multiple discs and batteries to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X3 weigh?
LITELOK X3 weighs approximately 2.1kgs or 4.6lbs.
What's the difference between X3 Bike and X3 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X3 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a greater amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling D-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X3?
LITELOK X3 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 100 x 195mm.
How do I carry LITELOK X3 on my bike?
If you'd like to carry LITELOK X3 on your bike, you'll need to purchase the X3 Tactical Mount - a tough mount for the world's toughest lock.
Has LITELOK X3 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Pedal Cycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available). It has also been tested by ART, and certified ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X3 made from?
LITELOK X3 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X3 is sold with a 7-year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

I already had an x1 for my smaller bike and decided to go for the x3 when I got my bigger bike. As it would spend more time away from home the extra security helps to keep my mind at ease leaving it locked up overnight.
It is a seriously beefy piece of kit and the sight of it alone should be enough to deter thieves.
It is heavy and bulky to carry on the bike, but that’s a trade off I’m willing to accept given how substantial the lock is.
Hopefully it will never be tested, but somone ever was to try and attempt to cut through it I’m confident the wouldn’t be getting far!

I have always been wary where to leave the bike but feel more at ease leaving it with x3 securing it. In a time of increased thefts and attempts having this lock on it helps prevent a thief having a go. Reasonably light and handy carrying pouch fits in backpack easily.

I purchased the lock on the Great revues read by other purchasers. You can tell straight away by the weight and build quality that this is a substantial lock. My first concern was where to store it while riding if I wasn't going to use my luggage. I noticed a gap under the top box rack and to my delight, The lock fits perfectly. The lock fits through the front brake discs on my GS1250 A with out any problems. Good fast delivery service. as the sayng goes you get what you pay for. Would I recommend the X3? Answer YES

I got for my tern GSD, based on reviews that it’s the best lock available. I hope I don’t need to find out! I is easy to lock and unlock and quite large, bigger than the hiplock and I never have a problem getting it around a chunky frame.

Main reason I brought this lock was to protect my expensive bike against almost any attack method including angle grinders. The lock itself is heavy but not lighter in comparison to other locks in the diamond lock category. The price itself is fantastic and cheaper than others. It comes with a free cover to keep it clean and dry and I mistakingly brought an extra one as I though it did not come with one. It takes a few attempts to lock the litelock with the key and requires adjusting. The arm itself has a rubber cover to avoid damaging your bike and the lock is pure metal and can be used to swing at a bike thief should your need to take action. It can scratch a little easy at the base but that's metal for you. The lock has a mud flap to keep it clean but you should check it before inserting a key in case you stick dirt into it. My main criticism is it is a little short and narrow for my needs, I have a specialised Turbo Como 5.0 e bike and I struggle to fit it around the rear frame and a stand, I do love this lock but the size issue means I truggle to get both ends to attach and lock in please.
I would still recommend it if you have a smaller bike, as it is best value and you are supporting UK businesses.

A great lock (although fortunately not tested for robustness just yet)! Easy to carry when travelling compared to a heavy chain. Goes through the front wheel and great that you can lock two together. It would be better if it went through the back wheel or the fork as well as the front…however it may meant an X1 purchase is on the cards!! I would have given 5 stars if it was a bit bigger and able to fit through the back wheel.
