LITELOK X1 is armoured with Barronium®, a patent pending composite material that resists angle grinder attack by turning the grinder's energy and force in on itself. It offers at least 5 times more resistance than the best-selling D-locks without adding any extra weight. It is permanently fused to a hardened fine-grain high-tensile steel core which provides protection against all other commonly used tools such as bolt croppers, cable cutters, long bars, hammers and chisels.

Lock Cylinder
X1 features a high-quality lock cylinder which is durable and pick-resistant. The keyhole is protected from dirt, dust and moisture with our innovative self-sealing silicone keyhole cover.

Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a greater amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is sold with an innovative Twist & Go mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The universal quick-release Twist & Go mount fits any bike style and firmly holds X1 in place even on rough surfaces.
If you don’t want to use the Twist & Go mount, we have a lock holster solution. We’ve collaborated with Restrap, another great British brand, to create a Lock Holster, which is available as an optional extra for £14.99.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by independent testing bodies Sold Secure and ART. Both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available) and ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

Overall it is a good lock, easy closing and opening.
However the sticker (white stripes) of the lock has a poor quality. after the first use, it is slightly loosing its grip and is coming off. pls see the attached photo.
Furthermore, I am missing clear instructions how to add the twist & go mount to the bike. This is not very clear…

The price turned me off at first, thinking a cheaper one would protect my new e-bike well enough. After only a few weeks using the X1, this (see photo) is the proof I needed to see its value. Another lock would have probably been cut through by the nasty fellow (in broad daylight).
The only downside of still having my ebike, is that I might have to buy a replacement X1 this soon :(.

The good: Tough looking, tough feeling U-lock. Shipped fast with tracking to the USA. Key operation is smooth easy. Only one of a few angle grinder resistant locks. Key replacement/registration. Nice rubber shell and silicon keyhole protector. Highly rated by everyone!
The bad: The reflective tape on the X1 bike lock just comes right off with the slightest rub. Why not use reflective paint instead? Litelok really just seemed to add this as an afterthought without any kind of testing?
Other thiughts: This lock is expensive. Is having that little bit of extra angle grinder resistance worth an extra 150 bucks? Like insurance, it's never worth it until it's worth it. So that answer is definitely debatable depending on your philosophy on the matter. The Twist on Mount seems to be pretty good if you use it in the way it was meant to be used. However on an e-scooter like I have I had to adapt to the way I mounted the lock with the twist Lock Mount. See the picture. It would be great if lightlock offered a mount designed for e-scooters.

The lock fits perfectly on my little electric bike. I thought I wouldn’t be able to mount it on the frame… but where there’s a will there’s a way! Feel completely confident that my bike won’t get taken with this bad boy protecting it. Only thing I would say is it’s a little heavy.. but hey! If it angle grinder safe, that’s to be expected. It very good I do like the case it comes with and the holder for it but I have a E-Bike and no where to put it as I have a rack on the back the battery takes up the space where I would put it normally but that's great I keep it in my pannier bag.
I use it with my Oxford gold lock with an alarm so the deterrent of the alarm helps.

Über eine kleine Anleitung, wie man die Halterung installiert wäre für mich sehr hilfreich gewesen, bis heute habe ich die Halterung nicht installieren können.
Dennoch ist das Fahrradschloss ein muss.
