It is a super hard ceramic composite material that repels angle grinder attacks and turns the grinder's energy and force in on itself. Continuous cutting wears down the grinder discs, batteries and ultimately the grinder motor itself.

Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a greater amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is compatible with our innovative X1 Tactical mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The X1 Tactical Mount fits a wide variety of bikes and e-bikes ensuring your LITELOK X1 is held securely even the roughest of terrain.
X1 is also compatible with the Twist & Go mount.
Both of the X1 mounts are sold separately.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by independent testing bodies Sold Secure and ART. Both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available) and ART4.
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

I have done extensive research to find a great, secure and portable lock before buying this one. I used a lot of comparison websites and watched videos on YouTube.
This lock feels well build, and screams high quality, this lock is giving me confidence that my bike will still be there when I walk away.
By any means this is not the cheapest lock out there, but if you want to see your bike where you left i,t you need the best of the best!
I have attached images of the lock, display easy if use and access to the keyhole. The product doesn’t stand out so if you’re forgetful maybe get a yellow reminder cable (Lock is not normally installed like this, this is just for the purpose of this review)

I don't have the most expensive bikes, but they're well loved and maintained. I've also had bike stolen in the past, and no matter the value of your bike, losing a bike is a big headache. I'd been thinking about upgrading for a long time... I'm really glad I pulled the trigger. The relative cost is well worth it, and now I have piece of mind.
It feels practically indestructible, and I know my bike won't be the first target.

It’s great having peace of mind knowing they are well protected. Nobody is going to cut them with bolt croppers at all, or even an angle grinder without a lot of time, noise and effort. Highly recommended.

Solid lock that fits neatly (just about) over my rear tyre and rim. I’ve watched some videos online and can say I’m confident the average battery operated disc cutter will struggle to get through it. I think it’s worth the money. Happy with my purchase.

So far my bike has not been stolen. That is maybe the best thing I can say and the price point of this lock is much more reasonable than some of the other anti angle grinder locks on the market. Stylistically it looks great on my bike and the lock mount they sell as an addition was a good buy, if not slightly difficult to put on. That said it's also not likely to come off.
The reflective strip on the side actually makes you more visible, which never hurts. I have very few negatives, but if I had one critique, I would encourage the company to use a slightly stronger adhesive for the reflective strips on the bar. Mine hasn't come off but I think it will in the future if I don't glue it down a bit. Though to be fair, I'm no fashion cyclist. The only thing I care about is the fact that this thing is hard to get off and this company does that well. Lastly, this company must be commended for manufacturing in Britain. I try not to buy in China so this is a best fit option all around. I'll definitely be buying more products from this company and recommending them to others.
