LITELOK X1 is armoured with Barronium®, a patent pending composite material that resists angle grinder attack by turning the grinder's energy and force in on itself.
Barronium® is permanently fused to a hardened fine-grain high-tensile steel core which provides Motorcycle Diamond levels of protection against all other commonly used tools such as bolt croppers, cable cutters, long bars, hammers and chisels.
LITELOK X1 offers at least double the performance of the most heavy-duty chains yet weighs only 1.7kg and is easily carried in a rucksack, stored in your panniers or strapped to your rack. It also offers at least 5 times more angle grinder resistance than the best-selling, best-performing D-locks.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading D-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available).
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium® anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

Excellent British made product. 1 of the best locks on the market for value for money. Easy to carry with you all the time being lightweight. Would of been 5* if it fitted around my motorbike front wheel or through brake discs, so I use it between the wheel spokes . The peace of mind is worth it alone. I don't have any foiled attempts (hopefully never will) but walking away from my Yamaha and seeing that Litelok 'X' just puts me at ease that no one is going to have an easy time trying to mess with that. The whole think is absolutely great from the presentation box right down to the register your keys just in case you should ever loose one.
Upon opening the box it's not only well made but we'll thought out it has a silicone seal over the key hole to stop dirt ingress you pass your key through this seal which also stops dirt getting in on the key, the whole lock is rubberised so no nasty sharp bits to chip your bike rims, and also which I think is a nice touch it comes with a soft pouch to store it in so if it gets dirty while it's out on the bike once it's in the pouch it stops dirt transfer where your storing it.
Now the lock itself is a pleasure to use it fits completely over the tyre and wheel rim so cannot be removed by simply cutting a spoke or the disc to remove it, on ride outs we chain all the bikes together and now my litelok is the only lock we use to fasten the chain to, and if your reading this you've probably already seen the videos.
My reason for choosing this x1 over all the competition were lightness practicality of use the rubber coating as well as the very impressive anti grinder capabilities it simply made more sense rather than having to lug around a very heavy chain and pad lock that can be easily defeated with a grinder the litelok x1 fits the bill and does exactly what it says on the tin.
I now longer limit my time away from my bike or get panic attacks when I hear one that sound like mine while I'm out away from my bike as I'm pretty sure the…

I love the ease of use of my LITELOK as my insurance requires that I have a front wheel lock fitted on my Honda ADV350 whenever it is left unattended. I had been using a disc lock which a bit of a faff to lock and unlock and the LITELOK is a breath of fresh air to use. It gives me peace of mind knowing that it is one of the best locks available. For use on my ADV350 the lock could do with being a fraction wider as it’s a tight squeeze due to the depth of the front tyre but other than that there is nothing I would change about this lock.

I use this on my motorbike secured to the front wheel in tandem with a disc lock. This lock gives me the peace of mind knowing it will take a potential thief a considerable amount of time and effort to break it.
