Designed from scratch and tested to destruction, the X3 Tactical Mount is unlike any other mount. So what makes it different:
- X3TM allows you to lock your X3 into position from one side of the frame to the other (lock) before rotating it into the final cradle to secure it into the frame (load). The fact that it’s locked in and then loaded for riding gives you two points of security. Hence ‘locked and loaded’.
- The body of the X3TM is made from high strength glass reinforced polymer – to ensure that the mount is robust and can take the knocks and bashes which might come its way.
- The body of the mount meets your bike frame via a rubber frame protector with rubber strips fitting under the clips. This ensures grip but also protects your beautiful bike’s paintwork.
- The two frame mount clips allow progressive tightening to ensure that your mount is held in place as you go over any potholes or kerbs. Keep checking those Allen screws periodically to ensure trouble free operation. You will need a 5mm Allen key.

I got a promotional email from LiteLok about this with a £5 discount as a pre-existing X3 owner. I jumped at it as although the lock is awesome, it is a hefty lump to carry, particularly for short journeys where a pannier would not be needed except to carry the lock. I fitted it in about 5 minutes - there is plenty of adjustment to fit the majority of bike frames and it dealt with my bikes weirdly tapered top tube fine.
Unlike so many frame mounts for bigger D-Locks this ones doesn't rattle or move in the slightest - apart from the additional 2kg+ on the frame, you wouldn't know it was there until you needed it. I'm dead happy with this - it makes lugging the lock around so much easier.
