I had the old version of the mount previously, which only gripped the lock on the locking mechanism, so the U bend could freely move, which had led to a lot of rattling. This new version is fantastic, it firmly holds both the U and the locking part. So rattling, no moving, no distractions.
One to get used to is that you "lock" the lock into the mount. Takes a few times to remember not to close the lock before you've inserted it into the mount.
Only negative is that the way the mount is constructed, it essentially rips off the reflective strip on the lock after a few uses. Otherwise fantastic.

If you’re getting the lock you might as well get the mount as well. Lots of options for attaching to the frame but attaching it to the top tube worked best for me even though I have external cabling on the frame. It would fit most bikes even those with oversized tubing. The mechanism for inserting and removing the lock is simple and ingenious. Love it. Highly recommend this whole set up

The mount locks securely to my bike via the allen keyed screws and I love how the X1 actually locks to the mount! I never have to worry about it accidentally slipping out either because of how tight it fits into the mount.

Solid and very secure mount that fits my bike well. I have it fixed to the seat post of my "non traditional" Moulton SST. It makes for near silent transportation which is a bonus.

Attention pour les e-bike sans barre transversale, le support est pas hyper pratique à installer. On a réussi en bidouillant un peu pour le visser à l'installer (voir la vidéo).
Après nickels, fonctionne bien et tiens bien l'antivol en place une fois bien placé ;).

The mount feels well made and securely fastens to the bike frame without any fuss. While riding the lock is held tight and doesn't rattle or make any noise. The only issue I have is that you are limited to fastening the lock to the inside frame, which limits room for bottles/bags.

I’ve been using Litelok X1 for one year and everything is all good! It’s sturdy and not too heavy, giving me peace of mind when locking my e-bike in Paris.
The only negative point so far was the rattling noise when riding with the previous twist & go mount. So annoying! But I got used to.
I tried to put heatshrink on the shackle but it couldn’t slide in the crossbar. Finally Litelok released this tactical mount and it’s just perfect! It weights
200 grams (without the two straps), just 50 grams more than the old twist & go mount. And there’s no more rattling! Finally I can ride silently on stealth mode :)

Thank you for redesigning the X1 mount. It now fits securely and silently to my Brompton.
