Lock Cylinder

It is a super hard ceramic composite material that repels angle grinder attacks and turns the grinder's energy and force in on itself. Continuous cutting wears down the grinder discs, batteries and ultimately the grinder motor itself.

Can X1 be cut with an angle grinder?
Unfortunately, all locks can be cut with the right tools and enough time. The exact time it takes depends on a number of factors like the power of the angle grinder, the type of discs used and the skill of the user. During our own and independent tests we found that X1 is at least 5 times more angle grinder resistant than the current leading d-lock as well as needing multiple discs to cut it.
How much does LITELOK X1 weigh?
LITELOK X1 weighs approximately 1.7kgs or 3.7lbs.
What's the difference between X1 Bike and X1 Moto?
There is no difference between the Bike and Moto versions. They are exactly the same locks. The reason why we differentiate them is to show how X1 can be used as an effective security device for all types of bicycles and motorcycles.
What's the difference between X1 and X3?
LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder cuts. This resistance comes from the layers of Barronium® that each lock features. X3 uses a higher amount of Barronium® meaning it has a higher resistance to angle grinder cuts than X1. X1 has at least 5 times the resistance to angle grinder cuts compared to the best selling d-locks whereas X3 has at least 20 times the resistance.
What is the locking circumference of LITELOK X1?
LITELOK X1 has a full-sized locking circumference of approximately 101 x 196mm meaning you can lock more bikes in more places than other armoured u-locks.
Can I attach LITELOK X1 to my bike?
LITELOK X1 is compatible with our innovative X1 Tactical mount for mounting the lock on your bike frame. The X1 Tactical Mount fits a wide variety of bikes and e-bikes ensuring your LITELOK X1 is held securely even the roughest of terrain.
X1 is also compatible with the Twist & Go mount.
Both of the X1 mounts are sold separately.
Has LITELOK X1 been independently tested?
Yes, it has been thoroughly tested by Sold Secure and both locks achieve Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Bicycle Diamond levels (the highest ratings available).
(Note: Sold Secure is owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not-for-profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories in the UK.

What is LITELOK X1 made from?
LITELOK X1 is built with Barronium®, a patent-pending anti-angle grinder material that is applied as a permanently fused composite armour, providing maximum cut resistance and protection from angle grinder attacks. The Barronium® layer repels angle grinder discs.
The X range comprises of three layers of protection:
1. A fine-grain, hardened high-tensile steel core providing inner strength against multiple tool attacks
2. Barronium™ anti-angle grinder armour, permanently fused to the core to repel angle grinder discs
3. A plant-based eco-rubber outer layer is soft to touch, so it won't damage your frame.
What is the warranty?
LITELOK X1 is sold with a 3 year warranty to provide peace of mind and covers mechanical or operational faults through normal usage. The warranty does not cover aesthetic wear and tear. It is important to register your lock and keys with us so that in the event that you lose your keys, replacements can be ordered.

This lock has been produced to a high standard using quality materials. The keys fit nicely and the locking/unlocking action is smooth. It is far lighter than my 6kg chain and padlock, and far more portable.
I was impressed by the resistance of the lock to angle grinder attack in John Milburn’s BikeSocial product test, and this was my main reason for purchase. I hope mine is never put to the test. Whilst the shackle size is specified, and also mentioned in product reviews, it is hard to gauge the fit without actually having the product in your hand. From experience now, it would allow more fitting options on certain bikes if the shackle could be a little wider or longer. It took a bit of juggling to find a suitable place to fit it on my ‘Guzzi which doesn’t have very large tyres. It will fit diagonally across the front wheel however.
It would be a great option to have the pouch fitted with clips or bungee straps to fit it to the seat to save carrying it in a rucksack. This, and a longer shackle would get it the fifth star.
It is still a very impressive product, and great value for money.

Really good lock solid and very durable I know if I put my bike out side it won’t get stollen the time I am in there I seen a video of the lock in a demo an it was amazing anti twist and it took 5 blades to cut through and as I said when they cut through u can’t twist it off so well worth the money as I have a very expensive bike and angel grind resistance is best for me

So yes, a few weeks back I bought my latest & strongest bike lock yet.
**The Litelok X1** (Camo edition) priced at £149.99, from Litelok themselves.
Being my 3rd Litelok purchase, and having read & watched all the reviews & tests, it didn't need much persuading.
I own an electric bicycle & a KTM motorcycle (both under years old), so believe it's vital to invest in the best security options you can afford.
It is very well made simply ouzing quality, and should some 'silly sausage thief' with half a brain see one fitted, he will most probably jog on to find a much easier target.
Yes if course ANY lock or security device will only hinder the determined thief, but with the right equipment he will eventually obtain his goal.
So I believe it's paramount to make it as difficult & time consuming as possible..the more security the better!
My strategy is to fit multiple locks - providing just that.
I have also Datatag'd both my bikes, and as you see fitted every other lock I could find adding to protection🔗🔒lol.
When I'm mobile though it's my X1 & Litelok One that I will be relying on for their strength, deterrent values & portability.
X1 on the front wheel & Litelok One through frame and(where possible)looped through a sturdy fixed anchor point.
You may notice from pic, I have joined two Litelok Ones together to give valuable extra length👌.
